Kids, Teens & Adult Free Trial Classes Saturday March 7th - BOOK NOW

Our policies are made to keep everyone safe, respected, and supported as we train and grow together. If anything isn’t clear, just reach out!

1. General Conduct & Facility Guidelines

  • No outdoor shoes or heels

  • Smoking, vaping, or anything that affects others is not allowed inside

  • Pets by permission only—we want to ensure a focused training environment for everyone

  • Respect is mandatory—treat staff and fellow students with kindness and consideration

  • Respect the rules of the facility—whichever recreation centre we are training at

Breaking these rules results in a single friendly reminder—after that, further non-cooperation may lead to being asked to leave.

2. Student Conduct Policy

Your safety matters to us:

  • Always follow instructor directions. If you're asked to stop, do so immediately — this keeps training safe and fluid. 

  • The following are not permitted:

    • Horseplay (major cause of injuries)

    • Moving faster than you’re able to manage safely

    • Using equipment in an unsafe way or not as shown

    • Performing sparring or other exercises without appropriate protective gear

    • Trying out techniques not taught in class

    • Teaching techniques from other systems to students

 

3. Refund Policy

Registered Classes

  • Cancel at least one week before the class starts for a full refund.

  • Once classes begin, refunds are not issued—though a partial refund may be considered before the start at our discretion. 

 

Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced / Junior Monthly Passes

  • No refunds for unused or partially used passes—this helps keep classes fair and available.

  • Refunds can be issued if no classes have been taken and you request it via email within 1 week of purchase.

  • Cancel any time through your account on our app/website without penalty. You can restart training any time, space permitting.

  • We run year-round and offer full day classes during holidays (rather than weekly) to keep things fresh and ensure you're getting value for your money.

Private Classes / Semi-Private Classes

  • Refunds available if requested within 2 weeks and items/classes haven't been used.

  • Private classes remain valid for 2 years from the purchase date.

 

Branded T-shirts, & Gear

  • Since our products are made-to-order / print-on-demand, we can’t offer refunds for wrong sizes or change of mind. However, if you need an exchange for a different size, reach out — we’ll do our best to help. And if your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, we’ll replace it at no extra cost. Please contact us within 14 days with photos of the issue.

 

Corporate Classes

  • Cancel at least two weeks before the class starts for a full refund, or to re-reschedule a class without penalty.

 

4. Privacy Policy

  • We collect only the essential info needed to register you—such as name and contact details. 

  • Your email kept for course updates; you can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Recurring payment credit card info is stored securely only if you opt into it. 

  • We never sell your information. It may only be shared with partners when needed to deliver your training.

  • No mobile phone information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

TalonPoint Defence may send SMS (text) messages to communicate with you about programs, class reminders, scheduling updates, promotions, and other relevant information.

  • Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from TalonPoint Defence.

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with us and the services you request.

  • Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

  • Opt-Out Instructions: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you re-subscribe.

  • Help Instructions: For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us directly using the information below.
