WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Skills you'll build from Day One
Our Adult Beginner Classes follow the official IKMF Krav Maga Practitioner 1 (P1) curriculum, giving you real-world skills you can use immediately while building a strong foundation in movement, awareness, avoidance and confidence. Here’s a look at what we’ll cover: - Stances & Movement – positioning and moving under pressure. - Falling & Recovery – fall safely, get up fast. - Striking Fundamentals – punches, kicks, elbows, knees, palms, hammers. - Defenses vs. Common Attacks – straight punches, slaps, hooks. - Weapon Defenses – knife threats and attacks. - Choke & Headlock Escapes – including ground defenses. - Everyday Object Defenses – using items like a purse or bag. - Multiple Attackers – survival tactics against groups. - Awareness & Fear Management – stay calm, spot danger, act decisively. - Distance & Options – tactics based on attacker’s range. - And much more — all taught in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment where you’ll build both skill and confidence from day one.
