Dave

LEAD INSTRUCTOR

"As a protection professional working in various military, peace office and security roles over the past 30+ years, I took a variety of martial arts programs to keep myself safe on the job. When I discovered Krav Maga 10 years ago, I realized this is what I had been looking for all this time! It was a true cohesive, defensive tactics system that handled the majority of risks and threats that people would face in life, or on the job, including various weapons, multiple attackers, and uncontrolled environments. I am passionate about sharing this vital life-saving program across our city and country."

Dave is the IKMF Director of Canada, and a Lead Civilian Instructor, rank G5. He is certified in the following IKMF courses:

  • Civilian Instructor Course (CIC)

  • Women's Instructor Course (WIC)

Andrea

LEAD INSTRUCTOR

"In 2016 I was doing a lot of international travel and realized I needed some self-defence just in case I encountered danger. A friend recommended Krav Maga to me and I liked that it offered an ongoing training program rather than just a single class, as I wanted to develop muscle memory and make sure I was proficient in the skills. I also liked the idea of training with an internationally recognized federation - the IKMF. My first few classes were wildly uncomfortable for me but I kept going because I liked the physical and mental challenge. I chose to become an instructor to challenge myself to the next level and embrace the massive responsibility of empowering others with skills that could one day save their lives."

Andrea is a Lead Civilian Instructor, rank G3, and certified in the following IKMF courses:

  • Civilian Instructor Course (CIC)

  • Women's Instructor Course (WIC)

  • Kids Instructor Course (KIC)
