At TalonPoint Defence, we are deeply committed to community empowerment and safety education. Through our programs, we engage diverse groups, teaching self-defence skills tailored to unique needs. Our outreach efforts include workshops, seminars in schools and communities, and collaboration with local organizations to promote personal safety and confidence among residents. We believe that community strength lies in individual preparedness, and we strive to cultivate a culture of awareness and resilience. Our mission extends beyond training; we aim to build supportive networks that encourage collective growth and empowerment.

Our Community Initiatives
EmpowerHer
The EmpowerHer Initiative is TalonPoint’s community sponsorship program dedicated to helping women access life-changing self-defence and personal safety training, regardless of financial circumstance. Through partnerships with local shelters, businesses, and individual sponsors, we provide sponsored spots in our six-week women’s program to help participants build confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of control. EmpowerHer isn’t just about physical skills — it’s about restoring belief, independence, and the courage to move forward with strength and safety.
UnityWatch
Unity Watch Group is a national, non-sectarian alliance dedicated to safeguarding places of worship and faith-based communities across Canada through expert-led education, advocacy, and proactive security resources. We champion the right of all communities to worship, gather, and serve in environments that are inclusive, prepared and protected—offering tailored training, self-assessments, and tools that align with community values and budgets.
